National School Choice Week
From January 26-February 1, 2020, Generation Homeschool will celebrate National School Choice Week (NSCW). NSCW is a nationwide effort that raises awareness of the importance of opportunity in K-12 education—including homeschooling.
We encourage homeschooling families to use NSCW to share their own experiences, especially with other families who are considering home education for their children. You can share those experiences directly with us, or on social media (including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram), using the hashtag, #schoolchoice.
Whether you share your own story, post a few inspirational photos, or share your own words of wisdom for other families, you will help make a positive difference.
Across the country, NSCW will feature tens of thousands of events and activities. The week is nonpartisan and nonpolitical, and NSCW does not advocate for or against any legislation. In addition to celebrating homeschooling, NSCW also raises awareness about traditional public schools, public charter schools, public magnet schools, online schools, and private schools.
